Healing Muses depends upon donations to make its services available to individuals, patients and staff at Bay Area medical centers. Healing Muses is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit. All donations are tax deductible.

• Your $25 donation provides two healing music CDs to a small convalescent home or clinic, or one CD each to two people in need.

• Your $75 donation is matched by Healing Muses and provides an hour of healing music at a local clinic, benefiting 100 patients, staff and family.

• Your $400 donation makes possible either four hours of healing music at one medical center or three one-hour visits, each visit reaching 100+ people.

"Patrice and I were playing in a hospital hallway, between the lab and radiology departments, when a woman passing by stopped abruptly and listened to our music. When we finished our set she said: 'Your music is so soothing. Do you have CDs? I need to have your music since I am going in for fairly major surgery tomorrow.' It turned out she's a law enforcement officer who had been injured in the line of duty. Since her job is very stressful, she felt our music could help her not only to deal with the trauma of her injury, but also prepare for the procedure."
